What You Want to Know


My goal as a counselor is to help you to look at your life from a new perspective and establish different personal responses that may lead to new and more effective solutions.

I view my time with you as an opportunity to enter into their way of thinking about what is challenging in your life.  It is helpful for me to get to know how you think, how you react in times of stress, how your family history influences your life and how social interactions shape the way you view yourself and others.

Clients who know what is not working in their lives, desire to change, set goals, and work to achieve them have an opportunity for a positive outcome.

Counseling Sessions:

Counseling sessions last for approximately 50 minutes.  It is hard to pinpoint how many sessions are needed in order to make healthy progress on your identified counseling goals.  We will discuss the potential length of counseling in the first session or two.  I encourage you to get started, dive in, work hard and see where this process leads.
