Welcome. I am honored that you would take the time to get to know me a little better. My hope is that you will understand a little more about my background and the path my life has taken over the past 15 years.
After earning a degree in business administration at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois, I spent many years pursuing a career in finance and real estate. Over time, I came to realize that I was not leading a fulfilling life. After experiencing my own life challenges and trials I realized that I needed other people to help me navigate difficult times. Through this process, I also found my true passion; helping people discover happier, healthier, and more effective lives. I try to do this by combining my personal experiences and education along with my desire to see people change, develop and grow. I love watching for small positive changes that mean bigger changes are within reach. The process of change is not only my goal for you as a counselor; it is my on-going personal journey as well.
I maintain a private practice at Meridian Counseling Center in Meridian, Idaho. I am trained to counsel individuals, couples, and families dealing with various personal and relationship life stressors.
I have experience working with the following:
Depression, Anxiety, Relationship Distress, Marriage Distress, Family Transitions, Divorce Care, Substance Abuse, Career Exploration, Life Transitions, Grief and Loss, Parenting Problems, etc.
I have worked with individuals, couples, children, adolescents, siblings, families, and groups.

Along with my training as a marriage and family counselor, I have completed extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) from the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT).
